Yoga is a non-competitive, non-judgmental form of mind/body exercise. Yoga works to develop strength, cultivate flexibility, tone muscles, improve balance and coordination. Yoga eliminates wastes and toxins from the body. Yoga also reduces stress and tension by soothing the central nervous system.
Yoga is totally subjective because everyone's body is different; therefore, we honor the body and let go of the ego mind by concentrating on positive, harmonious thoughts. When we can learn to accept the body and lovingly respect it, the body will blossom like a flower, opening one petal at a time.
At Sundance Yoga Studio we use positive, supportive mental attitudes during our practice. We open ourselves to experience and express love, peacefulness and vibrant health in every posture.
I hope that you will make the choice of health and join us in our journey of personal growth.

"When life threw me for a loop after serious surgery and a frozen shoulder, I found Sundance-or better yet, Sundance found me. I have always felt at home and the instructors/yogis are all very kind and welcoming. Although challenging, the classes are led by competent and positive instructors. Mike, Alex and Valerie have all been my inspiration over the last few years as I have gotten stronger and healthier. I only wish I could have them here with me in Germany where my new job is. The best Yoga studio I've been to-anywhere. Great for beginners and experts alike.
"I took a group of students ( ages 9-12)to Sundance Yoga Studio for a field trip this week. Valerie was so great and provided a class that helped the students focus on breathing, mindfulness, and mediation. She was so helpful and I know my students had a great time! I would recommend this to any teacher who is looking to plan a field trip to help meet the emotional or behavioral needs of their students. We hope to take another trip next year!"Emily E.
